Wondering if the hourly XC services to Edinburgh will be reinstated. They seem to be empty in comparison to LNER at the moment coming in to Edinburgh. And with TPE now operating north of Newcastle to edinburgh, will we see a return to hourly? Glasgow services cut down as well by normal standards and by the looks of things not being reinstated on the 3rd of August.

They were never due to be reinstated on the 3rd of August. The current timetable is to last until at least September. All the services will eventually be reinstated.

Off topic but does anyone know when Avanti intend on extending their London - Birmingham - Preston services back up to Glasgow and Edinburgh? These places have lost their slightly faster link to Birmingham.
