XC Seats from refurbishment

Hi there, I suspect I know the answer but it’s worth an ask! With XC voyagers going in for refurbishment, whilst others aren’t very fond of voyagers I’ve always really liked them. I wondered if there would be a way to get some sort of parts from one like an old seat. If so who should I contact? (I know the answer is most likely no)

I wouldn't exactly be pessimistic about the answer for this one. On eBay parts from networkers are turning up as they are getting withdrawn from service, so this might not be exactly impossible.

If anything, there is a company on there that turns old seat macquettes into phone socks, so something might be done with these old seats.

Do you think it would be possible to get a whole seat? I would prefer an avanti but again I doubt it’s possible. I’m not sure who I would even get in contact with.

You‘re a bit late for Avanti, although I suppose it is possible there are some seats left from the recent refurbs. For Cross Country, I would send a carefully but honestly worded note to their scoial media team by DM. Perhaps suggesting a decent donation to a charity partner of their choice.

This is good advice, I find companies are actually quite open to out of the ordinary requests when you offer to make a charitable donation.
