XC at Coventry 10/06/11

Just arrived here, saw a Voyager arrive from a distance into P3 at 19:20, I though how unusual VWC are using a tin on the Wolverhampton run tonight! As It got closer I saw it was an XC one, opened the doors, then left very very quickly! 390040 was up his trumpet!
(Both heading towards BHM)
Looked on the boards, a delayed 18:25 to Manc Picc was due into P4, 30mins later the 19:25 Manc Picc is due on P4. No Bournemouth train due til 20:25.

What's going on with XC?
More importantly where is my mystery voyager going/from?

XC's Thames Valley service is in bits today because of the fatality at Southampton. The 1611 northbound ex Reading left there at about 1745!
