From the pictures I have seen of 220017 there doesn't appear to have been a lot of thought gone into the voyager livery. To me all they appear to have done in change the red on the ends to maroon/plum/purple (take your pick) and changed the stripey doors to pink.

Oh yeah and added lots of crosscountry branding!!

I spoke too soon! My train to work this morning had XC stickers at both ends of the coach. I was standing so didn't spot if anything had changed inside the seating area, but the VT maps were removed from the vestibules.

I've seen a couple covered in stickers like this. Although I didn't notice any change to the interior. Maps may have gone, but I didn't notice.

It's CrossCountry, officially. Although I'm going to call it Arriva's CrossCountry. :p

Probabally best if they keep the Arriva prefix out the way!

That was blatantly stolen from ClubARRIVA :-P

Heard from someone who was speaking to a Train Manager on Sunday who said the uniforms were only temporary as they were "standard stock" (ie: not custom made for the company). He said they all liked them except girls in the shop with white blouses as they got food on them or something!

Don't know what's actually going on with uniforms though, most staff I've seen have the "new" uniforms, but the other day I saw First Class host in full Virgin uniform, and also a train manager with Virgin but with a CrossCountry overcoat. Also saw a driver with a Virgin overcoat, but that might just be their own choice - you can still see some FGW train staff with Wessex backpacks as many prefer them to the FGW issued bags!

FGW don't issue bags!

Cross Country have just received some of their HSTs and they are now undergoing refurbishment
They should be ready to enter service at the next timetable change in 2008

If you can call one powercar 'they' then you are correct - 43085 at Brush.

One set of HST stock is now with FGW as cover for their refurbs, one is with GNER as cover for their refurbs and one is stored at Wabtec Doncaster. The LHCS hasn't even been moved out of Long Marston yet.

It may not yet have been moved out of storage but the lease is now in place
No point moving it until there is space at Wabtec for the refurbishment to commence
