The CrossCountry Summer Timetable HST diagrams and full timings are now available HERE thanks to GoingLoco Forum.

These diagrams are for the Cross Country HST sets, which run on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays & Mondays. All ECS workings are also included.

Please note, these do not include the diagrams for the two NXEC hired-in sets which will commence running from Saturday 5th July.
(However, they will be made available soon ).

Edit: For the benefit of those who find this topic through Google searches, Current diagrams (regularly updated) can be found on another topic. This topic is out of date.

It is important to note that the 0850 Edinburgh-Penzance service (Sundays only) departs later at 0933 from 20th July, and no longer calls at Berwick, Doncaster, Chesterfield, Burton-on-Trent and Tamworth, but calls additionally at Alnmouth.

Is there any reason for it to be re-timed by that much?

Thanks for those, as I had wondered what time the ECS was for the HST out of Glasgow on Sunday 6th July.

I think it's largely down to engineering works, but the Sunday timetable on XC as a whole is completely different from 20th July.

Your the track basher! Have you not relised the current diversion via Woodhouse, with the set then reversing in Sheffield. Also, calling at Doncaster, then Wakefield and Leeds!

Chill...I didn't know, and your response (plus general attitude towards me lately) could be a lot better.

I'll stop asking questions, maybe then I won't get such hostile responses.

are both sets exMML ones in that livery?

Yes they are. 166+178 came down from Scotland to the South West yesterday and 184+007 today (I got off them 15 mins ago, on time, at Newton Abbot). I think I saw 'Techniquest' video vegging out of 178+166 as they departed Bristol this morning?

You should have said hello!

Yes, I was hanging around the vestibule for footage near 166. Bloody marvellous performance, although I reckoned Monday's was a little better.

heart-of-wessex also made a last minute appearance between Bristol Parkway and Cheltenham (where we both bailed off). Got my last 220 in for haulage later on, well chuffed!

007 sounded lovely departing Sheffield around 1900ish on Friday, I'd just got off a 142 and I heard it and stood there with my mouth open. Someone walked past, scratching it off and dissapearing.

That would have been rather difficult, as I was on the opposite platform at Bristol Temple Meads at the time, waiting for a required 143 which didn't turn up, becuase it had burst at Worle an hour or so earlier! <(

Ahh, gutted. Which 143 do you need if you don't mind my asking?

At the time I needed 612/618/620 from FGW, of which 618 and 620 were out and about that day. 618 was the one that failed, but I did manage a spin on 620. Also got across to Cardiff later that day to cover my last ATW set, 604.

Excellent news in that case. 612 was my last 143 to get, took forever to get in the book.

By chance, was 605 out? Last one I need for the year and I've yet to find it.
