I find out that Family Daysaver is cheaper than two adult tickets. In the description, it mentioned about 2 adults with 3 children or 1 adult with 4 children. But it is okay with no children to use this ticket?

I'm not sure about the actual product you're talking about, but family tickets generally require at least one child.

The T&Cs in the MCard app state:

“The Family DaySaver covers up to 5 people i.e. up to 2 adults and 3 concessionary travellers or 1 adult and up to 4 concessionary travellers. Concessionary travellers can be children under 19 or Senior or Disabled PhotoCard holders. Concessionary travellers should carry their entitlement PhotoCards.”

I work in a West Yorkshire booking office, we sell loads of these when there’s only 2 adults travelling, there’s also a group ticket for 5 adults aswell, not valid on trains mon-Fri between 1601 and 1829, no restrictions on buses, or weekends and bank holidays

I asked last weekend for 2 adult ones, and the guy in the ticket office suggested the family one as it works out cheaper. Didn't have any problems when checked throughout the day.

The Family ticket is valid for 1 adult travelling on their own. I have used it previously before collecting the remainder of my group and after having dropped them off.
A few years ago there was a stipulation brought in that one of those travelling must be an adult, after reports of feral children travelling the network and creating havoc but not sure if that still applies.
