Interesting

When I went Wrexham to London the train did not go through New Street. It goes on the line Eest of the centre before joining the line further down towards Birmingham International.

Most of the services avoid Birmingham New Street and run from Stechford to Tamebridge via Aston

Looks like the 0645 is the only one booked through New Street now as far as I can tell

I can find no mention of the 1723 SB or the 1017 NB WSMR Services?

Also the 0712 (1P03) departs Wrexham, according to the timetable, at 0723?

Are these timings for dates in the future?

Yes, I did look at those times on the WSMR website before I posted and if you had done the same, you would have seen there is no mention of 1723 SB service, 0712 SB service (there is a 0723) or a 1017 NB service.

Furthermore, checking internal railway systems, the headcodes quoted for the services above do not exist either (except for the 0723 service)?

The 0712 was a case of fat finger syndrome.

The headcodes are what reside in the timetable planning systems, what headcodes do you get when checking ??

Just because WSMR arent running or showing them on their website, doesnt mean they dont have the path to run it. Which ones did they remove a while back ??

Ah ok, so these are paths in which WSMR can run but don't necessarily actually do so.

I was not stating the headcodes were in anyway incorrect, only that they were not showing as trains that were actually running in any real sense.

Hi

What route does WSMR take between London & Cosford on the 0645 departure (M-F)?

Cheers :)

To clear this one up and stop folks guessing the 06.45 Marylebone to Wrexham will go via Banbury, Leamington, Tyseley, Bordesley Jct, Proof House, Brimingham New Street, then depending whether it is delayed by the time it reaches New Street it either goes via Soho South to Perry Barr, bescot, Wolves then to Cosford. If it is delayed by the time it reaches New Street it will go on the down Stour to Wolves at it does not call at Tame Bridge. Station calls for 1P01 is Gobowen, Shrewsbury, Telford, Cosford, Tame Bridge, Banbury & London. Station calls for 1J80 are Banbury, Cosford, Telford, Shrewsbury, Gobowen, Chirk, Ruabon and Wrexham

The 17.23 and 10.17 no loger run. The trains that go via New Street are 1P01, 1J80 during the week and some at weekends also. Some will be going on the up Stour when the engineering works are active on the grand Junction lines and calling at Smethwick Galton Bridge vice Tame Bridge, I think this is only on Sundays though
