Where will I find the luggage van, a.k.a bicycle storage on a refurbished WSMR rake? Is there anywhere on the lengthened old rakes now?

Unless they're doing something unusual, it should just be in the DVT :)

Thanks. That's a bit of a 'smack forehead' answer. I seemed to recall WSMR's policy when I last travelled with them as stating "we can't carry bicycles until our refurbished trains are running", and thought that meant the carriages. Perhaps they didn't quite have a full compliment of DVTs at that time instead.

If you need me, I'll be over in the corner under the dunce cap.

I'm guessing that was when they were using T&T 67s on the trains, before they could use the DVTs.

have travelled many of times With my old 3 speed bike on WSMR Trains and Never Been a problem other than the first time when the Driver Didn't pull along the platform enough as the DVT was on the rear so it just sat in the corridor still plenty of room to get past and the guard was happy with that but now the Drivers see me and pull far enough along the platform at Ruabon for me to put it in the DVT.
