I see Wrexham & Shropshire have stopped services, Looks like another TOC which we can't apply to.

Guess someone is bound to say they aint in the government TOC.

But still same I thought they may have done aswel as Hull Trains

They haven't gone bust (if they had, they would owe money and potentially staff and suppliers wouldn't have been paid). There's a big difference between going bust and ceasing operations.

You know what I mean (Basically no more W&S train services).

I didn't start this thread to start a battle over how it ended etc.

But to alert rail industry jobseekers not to bother monitoring W&S website.

There are a few threads already on the subject, it might be worth diverting to one of them rather than have another one

Very sad indeed. I was on the last GNER train and everyone was given a chocolate coin to thank everyone for travelling with them over the years. Contrast that to the last NXEC service where there was bugger all announcement or acknowledgement of travelling with them.

Probably because when national express leave a franchise it's passengers are celebrating.

This is what a modern railway has to put up with.
When I went to HM there was 144 Guards, now there are non.
EWS is the worst Railway company in the UK got rid of hundereds of Groundstaff to fund the drivers pay settlement.
This will happen time and time again as profit is the motivating thought.
Employees are just numbers to be held in contempt. This after 3 decades of railway service. Thats why employees need to be in Union .
