Something like this perhaps:

A four track twin island Hayes & Harlington would be useful anyway for regulating non-reversing traffic. However, I don't like the idea of going from Reading to Heathrow via a reverse at Hayes as it would add extra distance and a time penalty for the reversal. Also between Slough and Hayes, if limited stop, the trains would have to fit in between stoppers or also make those intermediate station calls, adding further time.

Thanks for creating that, I think cost wise is much less, why can't they go with that would be cheaper.

Principle issue would be capacity between Airport Junction and Heathrow Central

The signalling blocks on the Heathrow Branch are fixed by the capabilities of the Tunnel escape and Ventilation systems.

The existing 10tph already maxes out those capabilities.

The time penalty could be eliminated by doing what the Victoria Line does Brixton with have 1 driver on each end.
