We have a world Road Race Champion

From 12th Thomas lead him through and MARK CAVENDISH is the Champion of the world.

Mark Cavendish is only the second British rider to be World Champion since Tom Simpson won it 46 years ago in 1965.

The flat course in Copenhagen was ideal for his sprinting prowess and it was interesting to note that it was the Australian, Mark Goss, who he beat to the line.
