Workwise season ticket's eligibility for delay repay?

I am a workwise season ticket holder (for transport of west midlands). I was wondering if my season ticket is eligible for delay repey?

You would follow the normal process for delay repay from the relevant train operator, and provide the discounted cost of your season ticket when asked to during the claim.

I don't believe you would be entitled to anything for the free tickets, but technically it would probably depend on how the tickets were recorded when issued. If they have a face value but the local authority effectively "pays for" the ticket, then you could potentially be able to claim.

They are issued on Swift now.

I tried to submit a claim following the same process as normal season ticket, but I was rejected. The reason is that it doesn't meet the criteria stated in current policy.

Hence, I think the discounted ticket sponsored by the local authorities is not entitled to delay repay?

Which operator did you claim from? I assume WMR/LNR?

I would appeal, and ask them to tell you where it states the ticket is not eligible.

The Workwise terms state nothing: https://www.tfwm.org.uk/terms-and-conditions/workwise/

And WMR/LNR's Passenger Charter doesn't exempt it. It's just a normal season ticket from their point of view, which happens to have a discount: https://www.westmidlandsrailway.co.uk/media/7068/download?inline

What did you pay for the ticket?

If nothing, the calculation of the delay repay owing will always arrive at a figure of £0.00, won't it?

If you paid something for it, I agree with others, I can't see why the normal calculation for delay repay against a season ticket shouldn't be done and some compensation paid out accordingly. It doesn't matter how heavily discounted or subsidised a ticket may be; the delay repay is a percentage of the fare paid, so any discount on the fare paid reduces delay repay entitlement proportionately.
