Hello all,
Yesterday (19th May) was at Ely station and as I was leaving I looked back and saw a Direct Rail Service Loco hauling a NXEA DVT (a 37 I think) it was heading south, but I didn't see which line it took south of the station.
Anyone know where it was going and why?
Cheers.

Sorry- About half 5 in the afternoon :P

NXEA are sending its DVTs to Doncaster for a test don't know which one off the top of my head but anyway it leaves Norwich in the morning and the late afternoon a DVT will come back to Crown Point.

So thats pretty much what you saw ;);)

If it was going between Norwich and Doncaster, why would it go south of Ely?

I saw it heading into Ely from the north end, and just presumed it carried on south. I guess, going on the info you guys gave, that it must have reversed in Ely.
