It's a Hornby item, long out of production. I'd been after one for years and found it in a local 2nd hand shop.
It's not exactly accurate but it certainly gives the impression.

Are you starting a new project? I’m not very good on more modern DMUs but is that a Southern 171 in the background?

That station building looks like the frontage to Rye station. I was down there end of June & it's giving me flashbacks! I believe the unit might be one of the Bachmann 171s in Southern colours although the OP will correct me!
I took a new job offer about 3 weeks ago & after signing it offically & wrapping up my current job, most of my day has been used to do model railway-related things. Hour long meetings have become kit building time as after the 22nd I won't be there! Working from home while changing jobs is so rewarding

Yes Cowley and Rich, that is a Bachmann 171 and while the building is not an exact replica of Rye, it is close enough to be easily recognisable. The building is in 3 parts, the central block in one pack and the two side wings in another.
The Turbostar is from the first batch (171721, unweathered) from TMC. Around the same time I went into my local ModelZone asking if they had any spare on the shelf...they just laughed, and to be fair, I fully expected that reaction!
