Working as a Conductor

Hi everyone,

I'm eager to gain some further knowledge about what it's really like to work as a Conductor, specifically around issues such as dealing with angry or difficult people over tickets or behaviour.

Is there training which is provided during the early stages to help learn and understand how to deal with this or the procedures to follow? How well protected are Conductors during their job seeing as they usually work a service on their own?
