Work Experience

It would be good to show when i'm applying for the LU apprenticeship that i have had some kind of experince with a cab, such as the realistic built cab simulators.

Does anyone know which TOCs accept work experience placements?

If it helps, I have now seen two school work experience people on placements with London Underground. Try popping down to your local depot, ask to speak to the Train Operations Manager regarding the possibility of a Work Experience placement. Explain what you intend to do, (the apprenticeship scheme), and why you wish to do a placement with them. You never know, it's worth a try! Good luck

TOCS will do work experience. I did mine with ATW and now I work for them - I just approached a member of staff at the booking office who managed to arrange it with the station manager. I know coxster did his shadowing a guard with SWT and he now works for them as well. Several other people on here have done as well I'm sure.
