hi

i am considering doing work experiance for GA and does anyone know if they do it? and in what sector e.g: on the station, on trains or anything like that and if GA don't run work experiance are there any other TOC's that do.

Also if i did, how would i apply?

Any info on any of these queries and where to start would be much appreciated

Thanks

Work experience is available for southern as i did it for a 2 months provided by the Job centre, it was great and opened me upto how the job is.
You could ask your local job centre or inquire in your local station and simply ask if its available.

Main thing to do once you do get it is Enjoy it! Make your colleagues enjoy your presence aswell as the customers. You never know, if you do well and show determination you could be offered a job from it. ;)

You'd have to contact Greater Anglia direct to see if they offer any sort of placement. Quite a few TOCs now do not offer work experience due to a variety of reasons, and even if GA do, you would not be doing anything safety critical until you are 18, which limits a lot of things you can do.
