Wolverhampton (High Level) Station

Living in student accomodation located near Wolverhampton railway station, they've started clearing a fair amount of vegetation from what were, originally, old railway sidings. They also have several men working, with all sorts of equipment and materials coming on site, but its hard to see what at the moment.

Does anyone have any idea whats happening here? Are they looking to relay track and use the old sidings again? It's a terrible waste of space if they don't.

Where exactly?

From memory the long term plan is that road access to the station will be from the other side than as oresent but not sure of the details.
