Can anyone suggest a way of getting to Aberystwyth and back from Wolverhampton on 1-2 March for under £30?

Cheapest advances are £17 and £14 at present. Not too fussy on times but would prefer yo be leaving lunchtime on the 1st and return late on the 2nd

Nope, they're the cheapest tickets you will be able to get and no point in splits. While the services aren't too frequent, it would only cost £9 extra to be able to travel on any train for both journeys.

If you have a railcard, that is the only way to reduce the cost.
