Wolv to Coventry with n-Network daytripper

Hi I'm travelling to Coventry from Wolverhampton on Sat 11th June.
Could go through Brum and take 52 mins but wondering if I'm able to travel directly from Wolv to Cov at 40+ mins on a Crosscountry train instead? Ta.

Yep that's fine, valid on VT & XC.

Yep, no problem there as long as you don't have a VT only ticket (VT only is cheaper so beware)

However, since you're travelling on a Saturday (Off-Peak) the NWM [network west midlands] Daytripper for £5.50 (bus/train/metro day ticket) is likely to be cheaper (COV and WVH are both in Z5), especially if you plan on using the bus/metro or returning

Thanks for your help! I'm planning on travelling to record fairs in Wolv and Cov and then onto Brum in the same day so buying a n-Network daytripper seems the cheapest and easiest solution! Ta.
