Several times in the past few weeks, including today and yesterday, Journeycheck (https://www.journeycheck.com/swr/) has reported an issue with a level crossing between Wokingham and Bracknell causing train delays.
Normally it's reported first thing in the morning, which normally disappears as fast as it has appeared, apart from one time mid-July, when it caused disruption for many hours.
I initially assumed this was the main crossing at Wokingham, but it doesn't seem to affect GWR trains, which would mean it is the Staar Crossing (Easthampstead Road), but this is currently closed for work on the new southern orbital road.
Anybody know anything more, and why does it keep failing?
