I have been getting the "We need to verify you are human..." page which concludes quite quickly I am and after about 10 secs lets me in

Couldn't even get into the WNXX forum this evening. The message about verifying you're a human kept going round in a loop

For the past few days I’ve been getting the following message when trying to use various sections of the WNXX Forum “Sorry but the board is temporarily unavailable, please try again in a few minutes”.
I was able to intermittently access the site but it’s now become almost permanent.
Has anyone experienced the same issue?

There is a recurrence of the previous issues. In the last post that I’ve seen, the forum owner has advised that accessing Cloudflare DDOS services is more difficult.

It seems to be playing up again - the past couple of days, it's sometimes showing as being unavailable, and to try back later. Now it appears that I've been permanently banned. Is anyone else seeing this?.
Yes. I've just had the 'permanently banned' message too.

Yep definitely hacked again…
It looks like they must have blacklisted anyone trying to visit the forum, I've never used WNXX forum before and i get the banned message when loading the fourm.
Not sure there's any indication that WNXX has ever been hacked?

Indeed. The problem clearly appears to be a denial of service attack.
It is. And the "permanently banned" appears to be a message to say that the individual IP address has been blocked.

Haven't been able to access the site all week, so have no way of knowing if I've been "permanently banned" or not

The board appears to be under an invasion of bot accounts at the moment. It's been ongoing for months but they had managed to get it under control until this week when it went crazy again. I was on there last night and the forum was showing that it had over 1100 guests visiting and from a brief visit I managed earlier the site owner had indicated that they were now having hosting issues.
About half an hour ago I was able to get to a page of the forum which had a message indicating that the board had been taken down whilst they find a fix but now when going to the url it won't load at all and states "This site cannot be reached." Hopefully this is an action taken whilst they try and solve how to rid themselves of the bot invasion rather than anything more permanent

I've heard Putin was livid that Tytherington Quarry wasn't properly breached
In other news the forum is appearing again, albeit with the "confirm you are human" function in place. However, it is still proving hard to access any part of the forum and on the brief moment I got to the front page, it showed that at one point this morning the forum had over 4500 visitors online which is impressive considering most humans couldn't get onto it!
If you are able to get to it, there is an explanation post about what is happening and what the owner is planning with regards to some sort of forum rebuild.

Board now disabled until further notice. The owner is now looking at setting up a new board from scratch.
