Hi all,

Is anybody able to shed any light on what the West Midland Trains Drivers shift pattern is for those based out of Worcester Shrub Hill?

Cheers,

Luke

Earliest start is 04:00 standby Mon-Fri,first running turn is 04:28 on. Latest finish is 00:08. There is night work but that is in a dedicated shed link. We have a slight in balance in early/late work so we have a few middle turns on earlies.
4 day week with Rest days Mon,Tues then wed, thur & fri,sat rolling over so long weekend every 3 weeks. Sunday’s currently voluntary but that will change in the future (hopefully after I’ve finished!). Traction is 153,170,172 with 196 from next year. Routes are Snow Hill lines shared with Snow Hill & Leamington depots & Hereford-New St which is exclusive to Worcester.

Do you know if it’s a case of being rostered some sundays on a ‘voluntary’ basis or do you give your availability? Also, is this at an enhanced rate and does the same apply to rest day working?

You are assumed available for your booked Sundays unless you tell them otherwise & unavailable for other Sundays unless you tell them.
