WMT short journey fraud advice

My son has been emailed by WMtrains for short journey offence. He travelled from Four Oaks to new street but ticket for Aston-New street. He was sent to railway employee who interviewed him under caution, although no paperwork given etc. He’s since received an email stating he’s done this 5 times and issued a fine for out of court settlement. He’s happy to pay the fine and accept he’s been very stupid. However will this interview under caution or fine show on an enhanced DBS? He works for NHS and will need to declare this if it will show on his record and potentially affect his employment. It doesn’t state this anywhere in the emails. Thank you

If he pays the out of court settlement, he won't be prosecuted, and nothing will show up on a DBS.

And just to be hyper-technical, an out of court settlement does not constitute a "fine" so if he does ever feel he needs to disclose it, he should not refer to it as a fine.
