How do you know which is wrong and which is right?

There are a number of trains that are missing from the National version. The services are supposed to be stopping at Bache and in the National version they aren't so the errors are pretty obviously in the National version.

Not saying the Merseytravel one is 100% correct but the balance of probability is that the National version is complete fiction!

The original plan was always to run fast from Hooton to Chester.

On balance, I agree the Merseytravel one is more likely to be correct.

NR don't publish a printed timetable. The fact that those who do so on a commercial basis print it at an unreadable size is hardly NR's fault.

NXEA has changed a bit.

There's no longer a through train from Great Yarmouth to London.

There's a new East Anglian train from Norwich to London at 0710, returning at 1700. Both call only at Ipswich and Diss.

0710 and 0740 from Norwich are trialling a new breakfast menu, which looks from the web site as though it is a proper breakfast served on real plates!

FCC seem to be doing interesting things on the GN- as well as 12 car service TO Cambridge (evening peak), there's divisions at both Letchworth and Royston Northbound- will there be trains coupling there Southbound? Notice that at least one of the northbounds divides at Royston but with both sections going all the way to Cambridge- the rear section follows the front, but stops all stations- the whole having gone fast from Kings Cross.

The 07.40 up will be The East Anglian.

Staff have never stopped refering to the 17.00 down as the Anglian with many Senior Conductors even announcing it as such. As a 170 from Yarmouth/Lowestoft with a 12min wait at Ipswich & no catering, the up working has not been worthy of a mention.

well this is all pretty frustrating, I was making good progress at parsing the NRT pdf document. Now either I have to decide to parse the timetables of all the PTEs/TOCs, probably individually, or live with the errors.

However, on saying that it was no longer financially viable, they have been proved to be wrong.

I like to have hard copies of timetables . Ill have a complete set of FSR ones . No new ones are at Queen St yet.

I still maintain that the new Merseyrail service is great but you might as well stop the trains at all stations as the timetable only shows a one minute saving in one direction only by not stopping at Capenhurst!

Wow, the last Saturday northbound trains from King's Cross are now significantly later. 2100 for York/Newcastle and 2200 for Doncaster/Leeds! That's quite a significant development.
