Walk up fares from Didcot to Windsor & Eton Central are cheaper than those to W&E Riverside. Can I use a CDR from DID to WNC to/from either station? I'm meeting a friend in Windsor then going back to his place in Bracknell, before returning home, same day to Didcot (actually Bristol, but DID is my usual split point for day returns to Thames Valley stations). Travel will be on a Saturday so no worries about peak/off peak.
Or will I need to excess my return portion to travel from Riverside?
The Routeing Guide shows both Windsor stations have the same routeing points - Slough and Staines, but I'm not sure whether the fares rule comes into play.
