Windsor advice

We will be staying in Windsor in November for a few days. My daughter is flying into Gatwick. I assume the best way is to change at Clapham Jct to the Windsor service, based on my threadbare knowledge of UK services. Would this be correct? Thanks for any advice.

Yes, the fastest itineraries are all to Windsor & Eton Riverside via Clapham Junction.

I will be in the UK next week.
I noted on the GWR site there may be rail card available that will cover both GWR Windsor to Paddington as well as LU zones 1-6. Did I understand this correctly? Seems quite a bargain.

It's completely standard for all stations outside Zones 1-6 but within day return travel of London that there's a Travelcard available. Pricing is broadly similar to a "London Terminals" ticket plus a Zone 1-6 Travelcard. If you only intend limited travel within London, Oyster combined with "London Terminals" may be cheaper.

Actually it's often a lot less, especially if you are a Network railcard holder travelling after 10am [or in some cases slightly earlier] on a weekday.
