Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit)

I copied BVE4 + OpenBVE from my old Pc running XP service pack 2 to my new Pc with the above system also I installed Microseft Net Framework 1.1 for BVE4. OpenBVE works OK but unfortunately BVE4 is unable to get started.
I followed suggestion in ealier thread about migrating to Vista (64) but Dll files would not register! so no change. I would be very grateful if someone has any other ideas on the subject regards JohnMac.

I had this problem aswell, luckily there is a tutorial on making it work here:

it worked for me on windows 7 professional so it should work for you

Personally I'd just stick to OpenBVE, it has far better support and more and more routes are switching too it (most BVE4 routes work on it anyway!) and BVE4 is a nightmare in Vista/7.

Thanks guys I did try that link but it had no effect so I think I will just concentrate on OpenBVE it is the future. Regards JohnMac.

Don't know if it's an issue with graphics card or what, but switching similarly to a 64-bit Win7, there's been problems like regular momentary, second-long freezing of the gameplay (mostly merely annoying) and with some routes suddenly the train turning upside down and facing the wrong way . "Yeehaa." Don't know if the latter could be an issue with train choice but strange nevertheless.
