Windows 10 Keyboard Issue

Update to Windows 10, not really problems and all working OK except 1 issue.

I have lost the uk pound symbol completely and the @ and " have changed keys.

Anyone help?????

You need to change your keyboard setting to UK.

That sounds like your keyboard language has been changed from English - UK to English - US. Unfortunately I'm not sure how to change it back on Windows 10 as I'm not a user of that OS but you'll need to look for something like the 'Region and Language' settings section in Control Panel.

Right bottom corner, left of time for me it says "ENG INTL" which is English language, International keyboard.
Click that, and select the option you want. If other options are unavailable, you can get more in the language preferences.

If your option is listed, and you have it more often that it switches to the wrong keyboard, using "ctrl" + "shift" also switches settings.

Nope. Windows 10. Why? It's been the same for me on XP, 7, and 10.

Maybe that is because my computers all came with Dutch (International) keyboard settings, but I've added a different keyboard manually. And then, you can switch like that.

If you have only one setting, it might not show it?

There must be a keyboard shortcut to change it, because.....My cat Augusta often changes mine when she springs up on the keyboard, walks around a bit, then plonks her backside firmly down on it. Her most common act is to bring up the HTML code for websites in full-screen, though she does access Chrome Help a lot.
I would ask her advice, but she is asleep at present.
