This is honestly not a wind up but the opportunity has arisen for a prize draw to be held to offer the chance to experience Class 395's and High Speed travel from an otherwise driver only angle! The lucky winner will be able to drive the 395 simulator and then also have an in-cab ride to fully experience high speed travel! I am trying to guage the level of interest that this draw could generate and anticipate tickets to go on sale in mid-late may.

This is absolutely genuine and WILL happen, please post if you are interested and would purchase tickets and possibly how many (projected price 2pounds each), the funds raised be used to establish a youth based project in the Maidstone area. Southeastern will not recieve a penny from the ticket sales and I am amazed that they agreed to let us do this but it is a really fantastic opportunity!

As long as you'd be able to provide some evidence as to what I would be contributing to is genuine, then sure, I'd spend about a tenner on a ticket.

This is completely genuine and as I said at this stage we are deciding how best to promote the draw and how much appeal it will have. The draw will be conducted under licence and everyone who enters will be made completely aware of what the project is for which the money will be used.

Cool. As I said, as there's something to show it's all genuine, (as opposed to just a transfer into a random paypal account!), then I'm sure you'll have a fair amount on interest.

Sounds pretty interesting, just as long as the cab ride train doesn't get held north of the Thames tunnel like the last 395 service I was on!

Sounds good. Subject to evidence (and confirmation that no RRBs are involved! - lol 37401), I'd give it a go.
