I know the matter of the District Line's overlapping sections has taken up a lot of space on these forums, usually relating to making the Wimbledon-Edgware Road services a separate 'line' and possibly even extending it.

While I see no logic or possibility for extension, I see no harm in simply making all LU services from Wimbledon a new line (which I'll call the Wimbledon Line for the sake of argument) with spurs to both Edgware Road and Tower Hill. As I understand it, services from Wimbledon along the main District Line section terminate at Tower Hill in the off-peak anyway so it could just be a dotted line to Barking for peak services and it would be a painless separation with the existing service patterns unchanged like when the H & C split off in 1990.

The Wimbledon Line would then interchange with all the deep level lines instead of being just the odd little subsection that 'Wimbleware' currently constitutes.

I think that complicates the map for no great benefit.

I thought that all Wimbledon services could be branded as part of the Circle Line, which would then have a triangular junction above Earls Court. This would reduce the west side of the Circle to a single yellow line. However, when I came up with that idea I didn't realise that any Wimbledon trains went further than Tower Hill!
