Not really good news though at the end for the German soldiers who also had "rays of divine light" from the Ark punching large holes clean through their bodies at the end scene with the "melting face" you describe....they did not look all that happy at the time and did not "live happily ever after"..:roll:

Some superb tennis played by both players as well. It was that good, I even stopped playing Football Manager to watch the match.

Our "favourite" Scotsman appears to have finally managed to reach a Wimbledon mens singles final. It is fortunate that he does not have to play Serena Williams....

You are probably right there. Shes more bloke than anybody else around. Well, apart from her sister perhaps. They shouldnt be allowed in the womens game.

The match was mostly even, the statistics were mostly even - but once the roof went over, the class difference came through.

Murray did well though - let's not take that away from here. Surely he'll get another chance at a Grand Slam.

Hardly comparable. Renshaw held his titles before the open era where his win guaranteed him a place in the subsequent years' final. Sampras and Federer had to battle their way there each time.

Yes, Federer and Sampras had to win seven matches each time for their titles but all three players won seven titles which is the record.
