The service which is a combination of DRT and regular services does extend into Dorset and I spotted a green minibus on service 57A entering Gillingham early afternoon.
It appeared to be branded Melksham Bus or similar?

Rides can be booked from 27th August for 1st September onwards.
You can use Wiltshire Connect buses to travel between any location within each service area and there is a wide range of designated pick up and drop off points available. (Rides can be booked up to a maximum journey length of approx. 13 miles as the crow flies).
Locations served include Mere, Warminster, Frome in Somerset and Gillingham and Shaftesbury in Dorset. (Short rides within Frome, Gillingham, Warminster and Shaftesbury are not permitted and where a timetabled bus service is available for your journey).
Villages served include Sutton Veny, The Deverill`s, Chitterne, Maiden Bradley, Kilmington, Bourton, Zeals and Tisbury as well as leisure attractions at Longleat, Stourhead and Shearwater.
