Been thinking about this so wanted to see what the general feeling is. How different to your pre-COVID travel do you think your post-COVID travel will look like and why? Will it be by the same modes (eg car, train, bus, walk, cycle etc) or do you see your "mix" changing?

I work in an office and previously would work from home on average probably once every fortnight or less, the rest of the time I would Park and Ride and get the train.

Going forward I can see that being flipped on its head, with office visits probably being something like once a fortnight if not lower and with that low frequency I will cycle / get the direct bus depending on weather / time of year / laziness and do away with the need for two cars in our household.

I can imagine people will largely be in two camps - no change at all or complete transformational change - just wanted to see what you all reckoned? There is a poll for quick responses!

We already had a poll for this: https://www.railforums.co.uk/threads/travel-habits-after-covid-19.202992/

I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to have another poll to see if attitudes have changed, but I think it's too early.

The question is probably also too simplistic in that for some people leisure travel might increase while commutes decrease; another person may stop commuting daily from Stevenage to London and commute once a week from York to London (which would be an increase in mileage but a decrease in journeys).

My suggestion would be to create a poll in maybe 4 or 5 months time.
