Will I Have To Re-Take Tests

Hello All

I have found out today that I passed my second stage assesment (DTG reactions test and CBI) with Greater Anglia and that they will be in contact for my line manager interview soon. I got an email last week that my application for Southern was successful and was wondering if anyone knows if I would have to do it all over again with Southern?

Congratulations!! Out of interest, when did you apply with southern? Providing southern are happy with all tests taken and the results achieved then you shouldn't need to retake them, the exception would be if southern require an element of assessment that GA don't!!

As you've already done the CBI and hold a valid assessment pass you may only have to do the DM interview!!

SN are in dire need of drivers. I'm not suggesting this will have any effect on whether you need to retake the tests or not obviously.

Thank you! I applied for Southern around June / July it was actually a week before I applied for Greater Anglia but they're process must be a lot quicker I am presuming and so I would obviously like to have a better chance in with 2 TOC's as opposed to one which I am sure anyone would. Are there any rules in place as to whether this is allowed and this Monday I have my first assessment with Southern so do I just go in and ask to speak to someone about whether I need to go through this process all over again?

I'd passed the GBT & TRRP 1&2 with FGW before applying with Southern, Southern accepted those passes so at a guess I'd say you won't have to resit what you've already completed however Southern do a driver fault finding test so you may need to sit that.
If they haven't already told you what you are/aren't sitting they'll tell you on the day as they do check the national database.

Hi, I have tests coming up with Chiltern. I had already passed all but the CBI, however when I contacted them I was told that as it was all new, I have to retake. As someone else had said elsewhere, even though they were good passes you just hope you can get it right again on the day!

@BromleyBoi I have already done my Driver Fault Finding Test with G/A so fingers crossed I won't have to do it again. Has anyone got any heads up about what to expect with the DM interview would be nice to get a few tips before hand!

Hi and thanks to everyone that helped me I passed my DM interview and medical recently and have just got my contract through. I am so pleased......but I suppose this is where the real work begins!
