Will freight be diverted via Aberdeen - Inverness?

Whenever there is major flooding or other reasons for track closures like engineer works, I often wonder if any freight going up to Inverness will need to be diverted via Aberdeen, this hasn’t happened in a while and I am wondering how many days the HML needs to be closed for freight such as the Tesco train to be diverted?

Depends if Aberdeen to Inverness is cleared for the wagons.
If they aren't then it'll be HGVs up the A9.
