Will DB Class 92s Work On Network Rail Metals Again?

Seeing as many of the DB examples are stored at Crewe and 5 are operarional only on HS1 and through the Channel Tunnel, is it likely DB will ever run them on Network Rail Metals again? I think the reason behind their removal was because DB didn't want to maintain 3rd rail equipment and something to do with the signalling equipment needed to run on the UK railway.
I don't know if DB will change their minds but if anyone has any further information on this, it would be much appreciated.
