Wigan to Chipping Camden, Gloucestershire

I'm going to treat myself to a wonderful overnight stay in the Cotswolds so I was wondering which way you would suggest I get there in terms of cheap fares! I will be leaving Wigan just after 10am by the way. I realise the nearest station to Chipping Campden is probably Moreten-in-marsh. I have no railcards and am happy to go via any route. I'll probably go on a Saturday

actually i believe the nearest to chipping campden is honeybourne, but there isnt much in it as its between the 2! you could go via brum and worcester probs the best route.

If you are using buses to get from the railway to Chipping Camden there are 3 stations you could use. Stratford on Avon - bus takes about 30 minutes; Moreton in Marsh - bus takes about 30 minutes (Bus route is Stratford - Chipping Camden - Moreton), or Evesham - bus takes about 40 minutes. Frequency is not very high, so you would need to plan well. Moreton station is close to bus stops, a slightly longer walk from station to buses in Evesham and Stratford - see National Rail's station information.
