Wigan/Manchester Victoria(next week)

[dggar]

There is engineering work arround Wigan next week and normal rail routes between Manchester and Wigan are not operational. A special Non Stop service is available between Manchester Victoria and Wigan North Western.
(I assume via Eccles)

GMPTE bus & rail tickets and GMPTE concessionary passes are valid on the rail routes that won't be available. Will they be valid on this direct rail service.

I don't see why not.

[hairyhandedfool]

Yes, they would be via Eccles and I don't see why the tickets would not be valid as the train does not pass through any stations not in the GMPTE area (it would be very harsh to refuse it because of a diversion anyway).
