Does Euston have free WiFi and does it extend to the platform areas? in other words, if I'm in a train that doesn't have WiFi, can I get a signal from the station WiFi?

Sort of*, and no in my experience.

*Free but registration required.

Two points:

Not many trains at Euston are without WiFi - just the Overground, a couple of LM ones and the Sleeper services! Obviously Virgin have WiFi (chargeable in Standard) and LM are rolling out WiFi to the 350s (and 323s, but not relevant here).

It probably depends on the platform! I have been on a 350 before the WiFi was installed and picked up the station WiFi somewhere on platforms 8-11, but I guess at the far end of platform 1 maybe not.

Although with Virgin WC. If your using the Virgin Red App & Verified your VTWC account with it, You get a code for 24hrs of Wifi per day. (Not sure if works with VTEC verified though).

If the train is on P8-11 , you will probably be able to get a signal . They even have the signs for the Free Wifi down the far end of one of the platforms there , but maybe on something like P18 , which is pretty much near Camden Bank , it may be more difficult . I havent been able to get WiFi on P16-18 , but P6-11 have been fine
