Why isn't there a Milton Keynes Group? Wolverton, MKC, Bletchley, Fenny Stratford, Bow Brickhill & Woburn Sands are all in MK.

Plus, tickets from MKC & Bletchley are often the same price which suggests that there may be some shadow group

But Haymarket is in Edinburgh (though that really should be a station group!), Burley Park is in Leeds, Ardwick is in Manchester, and.... (I could go on!)

Station groups are not generally used for suburbs or for other towns in the same urban area.

If the places you stated were all in the centre of Milton Keynes then that would be different.

Station Groups usually exist to give travellers multiple reasonable routes to their destination - e.g. Leeds - Manchester Stns lets somebody travel either via Hebden Bridge or via Huddersfield into Victoria or Piccadilly respectively. In the case of Milton Keynes, there is just a through mainline with a small branch line served by no through trains - there's simply no need for this to be designated. Whether or not this changes with the East-West Rail Link remains to be seen...

That's due to cluster pricing. London to Leeds costs the same as London to Wakefield, but the two cities are actually 11 miles apart.

Both LM-priced too! To be fair, MKC gets fast LM services as well as Virgin services.

And there might be a MK Stations, but you can bet your next wage that all that would happen is the BLY season would rise to the price of the MK one

Well, yes, but that one also stops at MK. I meant MK gets 3 Virgin and 1 LM each hour that BLY doesn't.
