Why is nationalism so bad?

You're saying you can fly a Welsh flag as that's fine but if an Englishman flies a flag of Saint George that is not acceptable as it will cause a "furore" which is an outbreak of public anger.
Who exactly are you talking about who will cause all this trouble ?

See previous comments re the use of the English flag. It's my opinion, I don't think that the English have reclaimed the use of their flag from undesirable elements. You may disagree?

No it wouldn't. A huge chunk of public buildings will fly the Union Flag. On a more local level, up here you can't move for people flying the Northumbrian flag or displaying stickers on their car or in their windows.

You do have a point here. Other than public buildings, you don't see the national flags (especially the St George's Cross) flying very often, unless you're at a football match or a Britain First rally. It's a shame.

The flag does not symbolise the skinheads, but the skinheads try and claim the flag as a symbol of their twisted nationalism.

If learned professors are still undecided as to the nationality of St George, until that matter is settled, both the flags of Syria and Turkey should be flown side-by-side on days that commemorate him.

I actually disagree that he would have abhorred them. They're just the application of his principles to groups other than class.

By spreading the idea that the bourgeoisie would somehow be okay if only there were more women and minorities in the boardroom, cabinet, judiciary etc, the 'cultural Marxists' are anti-working class and anti-Marx. Marx would never stand shoulder to shoulder with people who exploit wage labour, no matter what their gender, skin colour or sexual identity.

I don't think it's necessary to categorise liberation movements as a "revolution" of the petty bourgeoisie.

Also, nationalism and patriotism aren't the same thing. They're completely distinct.
