Who owns the Great Central Mainline track bed?

At the risk of confessing to civil trespass... at an undisclosed point in the past a person I know very well accessed the GCML at the overgrown but still extant station at Helmdon and walked the line as far as Sulgrave. Much infrastructure still in evidence save for rails.

No damage/ forced access was caused, I hasten to add!

My question- who currently owns the track bed?

Asking for a friend...

If it’s not been sold privately or to the local authority then it would be ”Highways Agency Historical Railways Estate”, which took over from British Rail (Residuary) I believe?
