On another forum I frequent members are always trying to get lurkers to post by outing the people who often visit put never post.
I have seen this name mentioned in who's online a lot. But she never posts.

Anyone know of any others, or a way to get her to say hello

I believe it's a sort of feature whereby one can log in and read PMs but can do next to nothing else, certainly not post

The user in question is likely to be a 'spambot' of some kind and so may lurk on many different forums. A member can sign in when banned but simply gets a message stating that they are banned and can proceed no further.

i guessed by the name it would be a bot of some description. Can't you just delete the membership ?

Go through the members list and you will see plenty of people who either posted once, a few times or not at all. I've noticed that we get a lot of people who register to ask ticketing advice, which proves that the forum has a very good reputation for giving both correct and genuine information when it comes to sorting out fares.

You know if someone get banned forever, well is there a system in place to stop them using a different e-mail adress and username and signing up and posting again? Not that i'm planning to try this its just out of interest, i hope I have'nt annoyed anyone enough to get banned.

It would detect your IP address, so it would say you had a duplicate account.
