I'm going to be over in October for a wedding and holiday. Depends what area though, It's hardly like nipping to the shops here is it.

Would have to work out who I've met but I spotted two members (both staff actually!) on the Spitfire which I photted as it left York earlier. EDIT need to add fishnchipsrule to that list of people seen today, he has just turned up!

Yeah, I guess it would, although QANTAS and the local economy might enjoy all the visitors.

I would actually like to visit Australia at some point but it will most likely be a 'once in a lifetime' trip when I do. The Travel Bureau over here have a good 2 week rail holiday to there next April based around Melbourne and Sydney but unfortunately ths clashes with something else I am doing. If I do go across ever, sampling an XPT will be a must, plus probably a visit to New Zealand for the rebuilt Mk. 2 coaches.

Just to ensure at least some of this post remains on topic, several of us met two of our Austrian posters, Reini and Roni, yesterday.

All i do know that i have met is O L Leigh.

I may of met others in one way or another, but tbh i wouldnt know. I know a few of young rail enthisiasts that i see on my trains but i wouldnt know if they frequent on here or other places. One even follows the same footie team as me.
