Hi Everyone, just recently had an interview for track inspection & just waiting to hear from Network Rail now, I'm just curious who decides if I'm successful or unsuccessful, is it the line manager that interviewed me or is it HR? Thanks

The hiring manager makes the decision and may call you direct before advising HR.
I've applied for numerous posts internally and sometimes the manager will call,other times he/she will advise HR who will then contact yourself.
