Hi can anyone tell me the best route to get from Spurs White Heart Lane Ground to King Cross next Saturday (7th November). I need to be back in time after the match (finish approx 4.50pm)to connect with the 18.35 bound to Newcastle. I am concerned about the planned works on both tubes and trains for the area that day coupled with a large crowd and would appreciate any help. If I miss the 18.35 its not the end of the world as I can catch the Grand Central home at 19.07 but as I have already paid for tickets on the 18.35 Im not too keen on this option!;)

BR from White Hart Lane to Liverpool St, for Met westbound towards Hammersmith (terminating Baker St that day because of engineering works). Met services on the Hammersmith branch run every 10 minutes.
Alterntively, walk from Liverpool St to Moorgate for the Northern Line. This worked well for us last season when the Met was shut. 18:35 off the Cross shouldn't be a problem at all.

Victoria Line is closed that day. I believe it's a fair old walk to Seven Sisters anyway, whereas White Hart Lane BR is around 5-10 minutes from the away end.

There will be a huge queue at WHL, to say the least. You could spend 45 mins queuing. It can be better to go to Northumberland Park. Many people walk to Seven Sisters to avoid the queues and get on the Victoria line however that won't be an option.

it may be worth considering walking to Wood Green (2 miles). There may be a bus you can hop on, but buses leaving from around the ground will be wedged.

Cheers. Depending on the scoreline though I may end up leaving early:lol:
