Which trains would you like to see making a return?

So far from Locomotive Service Limited, It seems they are on the ball recently with the returning of the Swallow livery Class 87/90/mk3/DVT (With a possible Class 91/MK4) set, Blue Pullman HST and so on.
I just wanted to ask what other Locos/Units would you like to see making its return to the mainline for furture charter service?

The two would like to see is
Class 47 + MK2 coaches in Intercity livery
Class 442 (with reinstalled buffet/lounge) In NSE livery

Not really sure, ones like the 121 bubble car would be nice for a one off but I wouldn't want regularly.

Nice idea. I do remember travelling on the units occasionally but sadly eschewed the griddle car when the opportunity still existed. (Ditto on the Clacton EMUs.)

None, in normal service.

All rolling stock which has been scrapped, at least as far back as my knowledge goes, has been withdrawn because it was either outdated or unsuitable.

If one existed or someone had a lot of money - a proper Blue Pullman diesel set, not a pseudo/ersatz one. Though perhaps a Brighton Belle style bogie change wouldn't be an issue!

I have a lot of memories of 45s and 46s around Birmingham so mainly cross country.

Would love to see more Western (cl52) action and never saw a Hymek (cl35) in action.

You've just reminded me of the old "Music Trains" on the Penistone line... that was usually a 3-car 144, but did have a real-ale bar (of sorts) on board- remember to tilt the glass if you're on a Pacer!

The 20 stored 365s converted back to 3rd rail, fully refurbished and go back to Southeastern (painted in dark blue like the 375/377) to work on express routes and send whatever 465s that are on them back to metro routes. Would never happen though

No, they're not. The oldest are approaching 40 years old, so by modern standards they are cramped and noisy inside, they're slow off the mark, disliked by the unions (and presumably therefore by staff), and if more EMUs are needed anywhere then there are plenty of much better ones off lease either already or soon...

Would happily take a Warship. Had a couple of V200s in Germany on mainline in past few years, even had one on diagramed passenger albeit the Dagebuell branch so limited thrash!

I'm going to be greedy, and say I'd like a rake of dual heat Mk 1 coaches, with a Mk 2 FK, and Mk 1 buffet car, located and maintained at Inverness, and used on service trains on round trips to Aberdeen, Kyle, Wick / Thurso, powered by a selection of 25 / 26 / 27 / 37 (both steam heat and ETH) / 40, singly and in pairs.
