they all look good, although i would stop short of beautiful. They need to be viewed in their optimal environment. Some would suit some landscapes better than others. except the 281, thats horrendous. I can see an oap driving it.


E231-800 if i had to judge, but that cos im from the north east.

Have you got anymore, those are something else. Do they run all their trains on narrow guage?

Im going with the series 223, it looks great modern and sleak.

Series 253 reminds me of a small 158/9 sprinter i think its the headlights...

I prefer the e253 myself, looks quite modern to me and the headlight does resemble the sprinters.
