Which Football team do you support?

Following on from the Football discussion where Paul raised a valid question about certain premier league teams getting much more talked about, I posed the point that it may be related to teams with more support from forum members.
So here is a Poll to discover whether the teams with the most support are those most talked about. I have included an "other" option for those who support a non-premier league team

Well of course, but presumably you did also support them when they are in the Prem?

Also, the poll may not get many votes for Man Utd, I don't believe there are many users on the forum from Singapore?

The idea for this poll came from Paul asking why Man Utd were more talked about, and I suggested maybe more supporters on the forum.

There really should be an option of "None". I find the game tedious, and find the idea of supporting a "club" bizarre. But I do like the discussions about rules, psychology and sports politics in the thread fascinating.

Other for me too. Its well know on on the forum who I support - and it ain't the Macc Town Scum!
I come from a Man City family, but decided at the age of 13 that Id refer to support a team that I can actually afford to go and watch.
Of the Premer League teams, the one that I find most tolerable is Stoke.

Scunthorpe United here, and out of the current Premiership teams, I find Hull the most offensive!

I don't go to that many Scunthorpe matches now, as I tend to be at work when they're at home, or on earlies when they have an away match, which means I would get home stupidly late, and still have to get up at half 4 the next morning.

However, so saying that, I would rather spend time at a race track somewhere and watch all 3 days for BSB or 2 days for BTCC. Can't go wrong for a weekend ticket that costs £35 ish.

Yepp, despite what Sky Sports would have you believe.

Macclesfield Town 'till I die - proud season ticket holder for 26 seasons now and have visited 50-grounds with Hillsborough being my most recent, last week.

Best ground? Soft spot for Edgeley Park (Stockport County) and the Boleyn (westham)

Worst ground? No contest - Altyscum's cow shed.

Team I support, the ONLY football league team in Buckinghamshire and its not that lot in Bletchley, its Wycombe Wanderers

Liverpool fan here. I hasten to add that they are the closest professional team to where I live by a small margin from Tranmere and Everton. I do watch South Liverpool every now and again, oddly enough for a good while they played further away from me than Liverpool even though I live in South Liverpool. Regular users of Liverpool South Parkway may be aware that the station is sat right on top of South Liverpools old ground. South Liverpool held the first game played under permanent floodlights and also once had a sell out game of 10000 featuring Puskas which was played for charity.

Oldham Athletic is my "league" club that I have connections with for 50 years (I believe that familyguy99 also supports them and makes regular postings about them on the Football thread).
